Ashraf Foundation (AF) is hiring a Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) Officer for its program "The Meaningful Participation and Inclusion of Children and Youth with Disabilities in All Domains of CBR" at Chaugachha, Jashore. The position involves implementing, monitoring, and supporting inclusive CBR activities to empower children and youth with disabilities across various domains. Freshers / Entry-level candidates with limited experience are also encouraged to submit a CV
✅ Responsibilities
- Field implementation of CBR activities, including home visits for needs assessment and facilitation of inclusive community events.
- Organize awareness meetings to promote disability inclusion, rights, and reduction of stigma.
- Identify and connect individuals with disabilities to appropriate healthcare, education, and vocational service providers.
- Maintain detailed program records, prepare field activity reports, and participate in program outcome evaluation.
- Collaborate with the program team and project coordinator to align field activities with organizational goals and provide feedback from the community
🎓 Requirements / Education / Skills
- A bachelor's or Master's degree in social science, Development Studies, or a related field; a diploma in physiotherapy is also accepted.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in community-based programs, preferably in CBR or disability inclusion in the NGO sector.
- Maximum age limit is 45 years (flexible for highly experienced candidates).
- Strong interpersonal communication, organizational, and time-management skills are necessary.
- Proficiency in computer operations (word processing, spreadsheets) is required.
- Honesty, trustworthiness, flexibility, and cultural sensitivity are essential personal attributes
