📝 Job Context / Description
The Carter Center - Bangladesh is seeking 6 dynamic Upazila Mobilizers under its Rule of Law Program to promote women's and youth access to information under the 2009 Right to Information (RTI) Act across Rajshahi and Satkhira districts.
✅ Responsibilities
- Organize, plan, and facilitate courtyard meetings with local women’s and youth groups to raise awareness about the 2009 RTI Act and government services.
- Assist community members in drafting, submitting, tracking, and following up on official RTI requests.
- Accompany community members to government offices when necessary and conduct door-to-door outreach campaign activities.
- Assist in administrative tasks including local vendor coordination, logistics support, and preparation of bills, vouchers, and attendance records.
- Prepare and submit regular activity narrative reports, case studies, photo documentation, and participant engagement records to the District Coordinator.
🎓 Requirements / Education / Skills
- Minimum Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) or equivalent education.
- Must reside within the target upazilas (Mohanpur, Paba, Tanore in Rajshahi OR Kalaroa, Tala, Assasuni in Satkhira).
- Basic digital literacy (Android apps, Email, WhatsApp, MS Teams, PDF, and MS Office).
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and fluency in Bangla with professional-level English proficiency.
- Understanding of local culture and strong commitment to ethical integrity and safeguarding values.
🎁 Benefits
Total monthly stipend of BDT 17,000 (BDT 11,000 base remuneration + BDT 5,000 local conveyance + BDT 1,000 communication allowance).
