Medical Officer

OBAT Helpers Bangladesh is seeking a Medical Officer to provide quality clinical care, emergency medical services, patient referrals, and healthcare support at a health facility in the Rohingya camp setting in Ukhia, Cox’s Bazar.

• Provide clinical consultation, treatment, and follow-up services.
• Provide emergency care, stabilization, and referral to appropriate facilities.
• Provide integrated healthcare for newborns and children.
• Treat malnutrition cases according to established protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinic registers.
• Monitor patient flow and support smooth clinical operations.
• Ensure proper referral, patient transfer, documentation, and follow-up.
• Support clinical research and staff training.
• Promote infection prevention and control measures.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Pharmacy, WASH, IPC, and Maternity teams.
• Maintain patient data confidentiality and support reporting, audits, and quality-of-care activities.
• Respond to emergencies and natural disasters when required.

• MBBS degree.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in Clinic, Hospital, or NGO settings.
• Experience working with Rohingya communities in a camp setting is mandatory.
• Willingness to work in camp settings and travel within Cox’s Bazar.
• Ability to coordinate with field-level stakeholders.
• At least 30 years of age.
• Skills in clinical supervision, communication, emergency response, health intervention, reporting, documentation, and data analytics.

• Monthly salary: Tk. 70,000–75,000.
• One festival bonus after completion of one year.
• Other benefits according to OBAT Helpers Bangladesh's HR/PCM manual.
