📝 Job Context / Description
The Carter Center - Bangladesh is hiring 2 District Coordinators for Rajshahi and Satkhira districts under its Rule of Law Program to oversee project activities, supervise field mobilizers, and promote women's access to information under the Right to Information (RTI) Act.
✅ Responsibilities
- Coordinate, lead, and oversee all project activities and community events within the assigned district.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide technical guidance to Upazila Mobilizers to ensure program implementation.
- Facilitate discussions on RTI mechanisms and gender issues while maintaining strong relationships with local government and civil society stakeholders.
- Manage and update the project's Monitoring, Evaluation, Reporting, and Learning (MERL) database and submit weekly progress reports.
- Support financial and administrative tasks including vendor coordination, logistics, and submission of bills/vouchers.
🎓 Requirements / Education / Skills
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in NGO/development, governance, or community engagement.
- Experience in supervising field staff, community mobilizers, or volunteers (Preference for residents of Rajshahi/Satkhira).
- Fluency in Bangla and professional working proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
- Strong digital literacy (MS Office, virtual platforms) and willingness to travel frequently within the district.
🎁 Benefits
Total monthly gross stipend of BDT 45,000 (BDT 36,000 base allowance + BDT 7,000 local conveyance + BDT 2,000 communication allowance).
