CCTV Surveillance Operator

The University of Science and Technology Chittagong (USTC) is seeking a CCTV Surveillance Operator to monitor surveillance systems, ensure campus security, maintain surveillance records, and coordinate with security and IT teams for uninterrupted operations.

• Monitor and operate CCTV surveillance systems from the control center.
• Report suspicious activities, security breaches, and emergency incidents immediately.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of security-related events.
• Ensure confidentiality and secure handling of surveillance footage.
• Conduct routine inspections of CCTV systems and report technical issues.
• Coordinate with security personnel, the IT department, and equipment vendors.
• Assist with troubleshooting and ensure uninterrupted surveillance operations.
• Perform additional duties assigned by management.

• Minimum HSC qualification.
• Vocational training in CS, EE, or IT with IT application training will receive preference.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in a Group of Companies or University is preferred.
• Sound knowledge of IT.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts, including night shifts.
