📝 Job Context / Description

BRAC is seeking a Project Manager for the SHIFT project to lead WASH programme implementation, coordinate consortium partners, strengthen stakeholder collaboration, and ensure quality project delivery for Rohingya refugees and vulnerable host communities in Cox's Bazar.

✅ Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and implementation of the SHIFT Consortium WASH programme.
  • Coordinate with consortium partners, donors, government agencies, and humanitarian stakeholders.
  • Ensure project implementation aligns with approved work plans, donor requirements, and WASH sector standards.
  • Represent BRAC in coordination meetings, technical working groups, and stakeholder forums.
  • Monitor project progress, outputs, and milestones through regular field visits.
  • Review implementation plans, technical reports, and budget utilization.
  • Strengthen partner capacity through mentoring and technical support.
  • Promote safeguarding, gender equality, inclusion, and compliance with BRAC policies.
  • Consolidate programme learning and support donor reporting.

🎓 Requirements / Education / Skills

  • Master's degree in Development Studies, Engineering, Urban & Regional Planning (URP), Social Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the development or humanitarian sector.
  • Experience in WASH programmes, project management, and partner coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of humanitarian response, consortium management, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Ability to work with government agencies, NGOs, UN organizations, and development partners.
