Deputy General Manager

NDP Agro Industries Ltd., a concern of National Development Programme (NDP) engaged in Animal Nutrition & Feed Manufacturing (Cattle, Poultry & Fish Feed), is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented male professional for the position of Deputy General Manager (Sales & Marketing). The role involves leading sales and marketing operations, executing strategic growth plans, expanding dealer/distributor networks, managing credit/collections, and ensuring the profitability of feed products.

• Strategic Planning & Leadership:
  • Develop and execute annual sales and marketing plans to expand market share, sales volume, and profitability.
  • Lead, guide, and coach Regional Sales Managers, Field Officers, and Technical Service Teams to achieve organizational targets.
• Network & Market Expansion:
  • Expand and strengthen the dealer, distributor, retailer, and key channel partner network across target regions.
  • Identify potential markets, new business channels, and emerging commercial farm customers.
  • Plan and oversee promotional events, farmer meetings, product demonstrations, and technical seminars.
• Performance & Operations Management:
  • Analyze sales metrics and sales team performance regularly, taking corrective measures when needed.
  • Oversee market receivables, monitor credit policies, and manage credit/debt control.
  • Track market trends, competitor pricing, and strategy changes to provide actionable guidance to higher management.
  • Coordinate with production, supply chain, and finance departments to ensure uninterrupted product distribution.

• Educational Degree: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Veterinary Science, Agriculture, Marketing, Business Administration, or related disciplines. Professional qualifications/training in sales, marketing, or animal nutrition are an added advantage.
• Experience: 7 to 12 years of experience in sales and marketing within animal feed, livestock, poultry, fisheries, or agro-based firms/startups. At least 3 years must be in a senior managerial/leadership position.
• Gender & Age: Male candidates aged 35 to 50 years.
• Key Competencies: Expertise in dealer/distributor network expansion, sales metrics analysis, team leadership, negotiation, decision-making, and willingness to undertake extensive field travel.

• Consolidated salary of BDT 130,000–180,000 per month (negotiable for exceptionally qualified candidates).
