Impact Foundation Bangladesh (IFB) is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of OT - In Charge at Impact Hospital & Diagnostic Centre, Chuadanga. The role involves managing daily Operation Theatre operations to support disability prevention and cure initiatives.
✅ Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth daily operations and proper preparation of the Operation Theatre for all surgical procedures.
- Coordinate schedules and workflows with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other relevant departments.
- Maintain, test, and ensure functional operation of all OT equipment and surgical instruments.
- Keep an up-to-date inventory of surgical supplies, medicines, and consumables, submitting requisitions to prevent shortages.
- Supervise OT nurses, technicians, attendants, and support staff.
- Enforce strict infection prevention and control (IPC) protocols, cleanliness, and hygiene standards.
🎓 Requirements / Education / Skills
- Diploma in Nursing, BSc in Nursing, or Diploma in Medical Faculty (DMF) from MATS with valid BMDC registration.
- Age between 25 and 50 years.
- Strong knowledge of OT procedures, surgical protocols, communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
