Senior Investment Associate/ Investment Manager

Truvalu is a Netherlands-based impact-investment company that supports small growing businesses through equity investment, business development services (BDS), and business advisory services. They are looking for motivated investment professionals to join their Bangladesh team to work across the full investment lifecycle.

• Proactively identify, evaluate, and source high-potential investment opportunities.
• Lead market, sector, and company research to assess strategic fit and competitive landscape.
• Build and analyze detailed financial models to assess investment feasibility and credit quality.
• Lead comprehensive due diligence efforts (financial, legal, operational, and ESG reviews).
• Prepare investment proposals and presentations for Investment Committee decision-making.
• Monitor financial, operational, and impact performance of portfolio companies.
• Coordinate and plan successful exit strategies and contribute to SME capacity-building advisory assignments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
• Pursuance or completion of professional degrees like CFA, CAIA, or FRM is a plus.
• At least 5-7+ years of relevant work experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, NGO, or related sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of business trends, market research, financial analysis, and the socio-economic context of Bangladesh.
• Comfortable with short-notice travel for site visits outside Dhaka.
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and written/verbal communication skills.
