Security Guard

Averroes International School is seeking responsible, disciplined, and physically fit male candidates for the position of Security Guard (নিরাপত্তা প্রহরী) at their Lalmatia campus in Dhaka. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the complete security of the school's assets, premises, officials, students, and visitors by executing strict gate control, regular patrolling, and emergency response management. 

• Provide 24/7 gate monitoring, checking the entry and exit of all officials, employees, visitors, and vehicles according to company rules.
• Maintain and update visitor logs, vehicle registers, and security logbooks accurately.
• Conduct regular patrols across the school buildings, warehouses, office spaces, and parking areas to maintain vigilant observation.
• Protect the institution's assets, materials, equipment, and confidential documents from theft, robbery, fire, vandalism, or unauthorized removal.
• Report any suspicious individuals, illegal activities, or safety hazards immediately to the higher management.
• Act as a first responder in emergencies (e.g., fires, accidents, natural disasters) and provide full support to the relevant authorities.
• Follow the company's security policies, disciplinary regulations, and guidelines strictly at all times.
• Wear the prescribed uniform, ID card, and carry necessary security gear while on active duty.
• Inspect all doors, gates, windows, and security locking systems systematically after office hours.
• Assist with CCTV monitoring (where applicable) and prepare basic security observation reports.
• Perform day and night shift duties as scheduled, maintaining heightened vigilance during the night patrol to handle unauthorized access.
• Execute any other security-related tasks assigned by the management team.

• Minimum educational qualification of SSC or equivalent standard.
• Educational qualifications and age limits are fully relaxed for retired members of the armed forces.
• Prior experience working as a security professional within an educational institution or school environment will be highly preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of proven professional experience as a security guard.
• Only male candidates are allowed to apply.
• Age must be between 20 to 35 years old (except for retired armed forces personnel).
• Must be physically fit, highly active, honest, and possess strong emergency response capabilities.
• Demonstrated organizational skills, discipline, ability to maintain registers, and take fast decisions under pressure.
