Management Trainee - Marketing & Merchandising

South East Textiles (Pvt.) Ltd. (a unit of Interstoff Group) is looking to hire self-confident, target-oriented freshers for the position of Management Trainee - Marketing & Merchandising at their facility in Mirzapur, Tangail. This is an entry-level career opportunity designed to groom individuals into professional garment merchandisers by involving them in end-to-end product range planning, buyer communication, and manufacturing coordination.

• Plan comprehensive product ranges and stock schedules in collaboration with retail buyers.
• Formulate and maintain professional liaison with buyers, analysts, retail stores, raw material suppliers, and distributors.
• Coordinate and communicate actively across various internal departments for smooth operational workflow.
• Monitor and track all product lifecycle stages beginning from sample development up to final shipment.
• Project sales volumes and forecast corporate profits utilizing specialized computer applications.
• Maximize the overall sales volume and profitability of assigned apparel product categories.
• Conduct detailed reviews of best-selling and worst-selling styles, colors, and specific price points.
• Gather and interpret valuable feedback and market information relating to customer reactions to product lines.
• Accompany buyers during physical visits to production units to help them appreciate manufacturing systems.
• Meet suppliers to coordinate inventory distribution and negotiate cost pricing where applicable.
• Identify ongoing production or supply line delays and implement timely solutions.
• Assist in managing, training, supervising, and maintaining discipline among active staff members.
• Ensure the designated workspace operates in compliance with internal safety guidelines.
• Handle other specialized projects and operational duties assigned by the department head

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Engineering, a textile graduate, or a Master's degree in any academic discipline.
• This position is strictly open to Freshers.
• Age must be between 23 to 27 years old.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Bengali.
• Basic computer literacy, with specific expertise in MS Office applications and Microsoft Excel.
• Presentable, self-confident, and possesses a pleasing personality with a positive attitude towards handling clients.
• Smart in situational handling, highly target-oriented, and keen to develop a career path in the garments sector.
• Outstanding interpersonal and relationship-building capabilities.

• Initial monthly salary of TK. 25,000.
• Upon successful completion of 6 months of service, if performance is found excellent, the candidate will be regularized as an Assistant Merchandiser with a monthly allowance/salary of TK. 30,000.
