Logistics Supervisor

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is looking for a qualified Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily logistical and technical activities, maintain equipment, facilities, and infrastructure at the project site in Ukhia, Cox's Bazar according to MSF protocols.

• Monitoring infrastructure maintenance, supervising construction activities, and managing non-medical stocks.
• Assessing rehabilitation needs, conducting minor facility renovations, and preparing design sketches or technical drawings.
• Developing and organizing tenders for external contractors, including preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQ).
• Overseeing the maintenance of the project vehicle fleet and supervising driving habits.
• Managing logistical supply requests, communication, quality control, and localized purchases.
• Contributing to security assessments, installing safety measures (smoke detectors, fire extinguishers), and acting as a backup security focal point.
• Leading, scheduling, and training the logistics team (Base and Facilities Officers, Watchmen, Maintenance Agents)

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Civil, Structural/Architectural, or Mechanical Engineering) with formal technical training; a diploma in a technical field is beneficial.
• Minimum 2 years of experience within MSF or 3 years in a similar capacity outside MSF.
• Essential advanced computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint); knowledge of technical drawing programs is a plus.
• Mission language proficiency is required; familiarity with the local language is desirable.
• Strong skills in people management, project management, and structural procurement.
• Open exclusively to Bangladeshi citizens.

• Fixed monthly gross salary of BDT 85,500 (Level 6 of the internal grid).
• 2 annual leave days per month worked.
• Medical insurance coverage for the employee and direct dependents.
• 2 Festival Bonuses after completing one year of continuous service.
• Note: There is no provision for relocation allowances.
