Lecturer/Assistant Professor cum Student Counselor (Psychology)

Primeasia University is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor cum Student Counselor (Psychology) under the Department of Humanities. This dual role combines academic teaching responsibilities with providing psychological counseling services to support student welfare and mental health across the institution. 

• Conduct undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology according to the curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, course materials, examinations, and student assessment reports.
• Provide individual and group counseling interventions for students facing academic, emotional, or behavioral challenges.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics while handling mental health cases.
• Organize seminars, workshops, and awareness programs focused on mental health, life skills, and stress management.
• Refer students requiring specialized psychiatric or psychological support to appropriate professionals.
• Participate in research, curriculum development, academic advising, and department-level administrative duties.

• Master's degree in Psychology along with a 4-year Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum CGPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 in both Bachelor's and Master's degrees.
• Minimum GPA of 4.50 in both SSC and HSC examinations.
• At least 2 years of relevant professional experience.
• Preference will be given to PhD or MPhil holders in Psychology and candidates with prior clinical/student counseling experience.
