Head of Arabic Language & Islamic Studies

Averroes International School, Lalmatia is seeking a qualified, experienced, and dynamic academic professional to lead its Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Department. The position involves overseeing curriculum execution and ensuring top-tier academic standards in line with Islamic values. 

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the teaching staff within the department.
• Develop, implement, and monitor a high-quality educational curriculum.
• Conduct regular classroom observations, assessments, and teacher performance evaluations.
• Prepare annual academic strategies, lesson plans, exam frameworks, and departmental progress reports.
• Organize internal training, professional development programs, and departmental meetings.
• Nurture students' moral, character, and spiritual growth through constructive Islamic education.

• Master's degree in Arabic, Islamic Studies, or a closely related discipline from a recognized university.
• Hafiz or graduates from reputed Islamic institutions will receive preference.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in Arabic Language or Islamic Studies.
• Preferable 2 years of departmental management experience in a reputable English Medium institution.
• Strong command over written and spoken Arabic and English languages.
• Familiarity with Cambridge or Pearson Edexcel curriculum structure is an advantage.
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and educational technology systems.
