Marco Polo Dhaka, a premium 40-room boutique hotel located in Uttara, is currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - HR & Admin. The selected candidate will support day-to-day HR administrative workflows, manage employee documentation, assist in talent acquisition, and ensure the organization adheres strictly to the Bangladesh Labour Act.
✅ Responsibilities
- Assist in core recruitment and selection initiatives, including posting job vacancies, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and facilitating onboarding.
- Draft administrative HR letters, such as appointment letters, confirmation letters, transfer letters, promotion letters, and other relevant correspondence.
- Establish and regularly update employee personnel files and core HR documentation.
- Track and monitor employee attendance patterns, leave requests, and disciplinary records.
- Ensure all company HR policies and practices comply with the Bangladesh Labour Act and Labour Rules.
- Coordinate employee orientation programs, internal training sessions, and professional development plans.
- Generate monthly HR administrative reports and maintain up-to-date HR databases.
- Assist Department Heads (HODs) during regular performance appraisals and employee engagement activities.
- Coordinate employee welfare plans and motivational initiatives.
- Provide necessary support during disciplinary proceedings and formal grievance-handling workflows.
- Liaise actively with other internal departments regarding day-to-day HR and administrative operational matters.
- Maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding employee information and company records while preparing the monthly salary sheets.
- Execute other relevant duties assigned by hotel management.

🎁 Benefits
- Bachelor's or Honors degree in any discipline.
- 1 to 4 years of professional experience, though freshers are also encouraged to apply.
- Prior experience in the following business areas is highly valued: Hotels, Restaurants, Buying Houses, Healthcare/Lifestyle products, Hospitals, Share Brokerage/Securities Houses, Supply Chain, or Advertising Agencies.
- Age must be between 20 to 36 years.

- Solid skills in office administration, HR database management (HRIS), payroll management, Microsoft Excel, and employee relations.
